The bass player is a citizen of Halloween Town, he is a member of the town band. He doesn't talk much, but the corpse inside his coffin bass does.
Trivia
- The head inside his coffin bass is meant to resemble Danny Elfman, the composer/songwriter/singer of the movie's songs.
