Behemoth is a large man wearing overalls and an axe on his head. He rarely talks, and it appears as though his head injury has caused some brain damage.

May also be known as the Farmhand. It's on the list when Jack is handing out jobs for Christmas.

Appearance[]

In the film, Behemoth appears as a tall obese man with a bald head, pale skin. and wears overalls with no shirt underneath and is always seem wearing farm gloves. His most notable feature is the axe protruding out of his head. He also has a scar on his forehead with two bulging white eyes and a persistent blank stare on his face. His appearance and demeanor resemble a zombie who has been struck in the brain.

The Nightmare Before Christmas[]

During the opening song, he drags the scarecrow on a horse into the center of the town, where it turns out to be Jack.

When Lock, Shock, and Barrel come back with the Easter Bunny, Behemoth loudly points out, "Bunny!" Scared, the Bunny hops back into the bag, and is subsequently (with some rather heavy persuasion from Jack), taken back to its own holiday world.

Trivia[]

  • In Behemoth's concept art, he was originally going to have a wrench or a garden hoe stuck in his head.
  • The Behemoth character's look is based on two actors. First the actor Tor Johnson who acted in Plan 9 from Outer Space and the second being former professional WWF wrestler/actor George “The Animal” Steele.
