Oogie's Lair

Oogie Boogie's home is an underground lair full of torture devices with a casino-like appearance, as he gambles on human (and in some possible cases, inhuman) lives and keeps the spirit of Bug Day alive. The lighting is done in the style of a cheap fun house, as seen during Oogie's song. It is located beneath the treehouse of Lock, Shock and Barrel who send food (such as the insect caught during Kidnap The Sandy Claws) and sometimes even victims for Oogie Boogie down a chute.

A few torture devices shown in the movie include a roulette wheel; gun-toting robots; playing-card soldiers and a gruesome variety of other demonic contraptions.

Trivia:

• In the climax scenes, as Jack marches in front of the gun-drawn cowboy slot machines, just before Oogie yells "Fire!" you can see the symbols they slot wheels have aligned to, and they're all Jack's head.
• It is implied that the lair was destroyed after Oogie's death.
• If Santa and Sally successfully escaped from the lair when Oogie's vacuum morphing to keep them from leaving, Lock, Shock and Barrel would have taken the two back where Santa was sent down through the chute making Oogie angry and then torture them as soon as they return if the trio caught them. When they send Sally down the pipe, she would have a catastrophic reaction while sliding and then falls at the spinner and then after Oogie was defeated, Santa would be the only person to head back up where Sally would instead use the rope the trio uses to rescue Jack and her back to Halloween Town.
