Touchstone Pictures is a subsidiary of Walt Disney. They are responsible for releasing The Nightmare Before Christmas in theaters in 1993, Disney released the film through its Touchstone Pictures banner because the studio believed the film would be "too dark and scary for kids".
This logo can also be seen on the Original VHS Release of Nightmare Before Christmas also on the 1997 DVD release of the movie and the Special Edition VHS and Special Edition DVD release of the movie from the year 2000. The film has been reissued by Disney under the Walt Disney Pictures banner since 2006,as seen on the two disc Collectors Edition released in 2008 and on The Nightmare Before Christmas 3D Blu-ray.
